Answer: I have six children: They all profess to know the Lord; some of them are following the Lord closely, and some of them seem less committed, but I am trusting that they are saved. In the end, every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12).
나에게는 여섯 명의 자녀들이 있습니다.
그들은 모두 하나님을 안다고 신앙고백을합니다.
그런데 그들 중 몇은 주님을 가깝게 따르고 있지만 몇은 아직 주님께 덜 맡겨진 삶을 삽니다.
그러나 나는 그들이 모두 구원을 받았다고 믿습니다.
결국 우리 모두는 하나님께 자기 자신에 대하여 설명하여야 할 것입니다. (롬 14:12)
There are very few people that are experts on child-raising: Samuel was a godly man and a prophet of God, but his children were not. King Ahaz was wicked, but Hezekiah his son was righteous from his youth. There are always people around who can tell you how to raise your children, but imitating others does not always get the same result. Raising children is an act of faith as is everything else we do in Christ. As we raise our children, there will be times of great joy, and also times of great concern. When they do well, we must show our appreciation; when they err, we must correct them: but in either case, they must know that we love them, even when we must take hard stands that displease them momentarily.
자녀교육의 전문가는 거의 없습니다.
사무엘은 경건한 사람이었고 하나님의 선지자 이었으나 그의 아이들은 그렇지 않았습니다.
아하스 왕은 사악했지만 그의 아들 히스기야는 어려서부터 의로왔습니다.
아이들을 어떻게 길러야 할지에 대하여 말해줄 수 있는 사람은 주위에 항상 있습니다.
그러나 다른 사람을 모방하는 것은 언제나 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있는 것은 아닙니다.
자녀 양육은 그리스도안에서 다른 모든 것들과 마찬가지로 믿음의 행위입니다.
우리가 우리 아이들을 양육할 때 굉장히 즐거운 때가 있을 것이고 또한 굉장히 염려스러운 시간들도 있을 것입니다.
그들이 잘 할 때 우리는 우리의 평가를 표시해야 하고 그들이 실수 할 때 우리는 그들을 바로잡아야 합니다.
그러나 양쪽의 경우 모두 우리가 그들을 사랑한다는 사실을 아이들이 알아야 합니다.
심지어 우리가 그들을 잠시 잠깐 불쾌하게 할 어려운 상황에 있을지라도 말입니다.
One mistake that parents commonly make is to alter their biblically disciplined lifestyle to accommodate their children’s agenda. Remember that you as a parent are to set the course in order to be the example and to train your children in what God has shown you. When parents are led by their children, there is disaster ahead. Obviously there are occasions when children have special needs which become interruptions of a parent’s agenda: such as sickness or accident. But that is why children have two parents; one carries on the agenda while the other tends to the child care.
부모들이 일반적으로 저지르는 실수 중 하나는 아이들의 일정에 편의를 도모하기 위해 그들의 성경적으로 훈련된 생활양식을 바꾼다는 것입니다.
여러분은 부모로서 하나님이 보여준 범위 안에서 모범이 되고 아이들은 훈련하기 위한 방침을 정해야 합니다.
부모들이 아이들에 의해 끌려갈 때에는 그 앞에 큰 어려움이 있습니다.
분명한 것은 아이들은 병이나 사고와 같은 부모의 일정을 방해 할 수 있는 특별한 무언가가 필요한 때가 있습니다.
그러나 그것이 아이들이 두명의 부모를 가지고 있는 이유입니다.
하나가 아이를 돌보는 동안 다른 하나는 일정을 수행합니다.
If parents change their patterns and put their lives on hold until their children are raised, when do the children learn the disciplines of their parent’s convictions? If your child is eight-years-old, it is time that he or she is fitting into some of your agenda. It is called discipline, or discipleship.
만약 부모가 아이들이 자랄 때까지 그들의 삶의 패턴을 바꾸거나 그들의 삶을 멈추어 버린다면 아이들은 언제 그들의 부모의 신념의 훈련을 배움니까?
만약 당신의 아이가 8살이라면 그들이 당신들의 일정에 맞추어야 할 때입니다.

2 Timothy 3: 14, 15 But continue thou in the things which thou has learned and been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
디모데 후서 3장 14절과 15절 :그러나 너는 배우고 확실한 일에 거하라 네가 뉘게 배운 것을 알며 또 네가 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라
Secular education: Education is made secular or holy by the source from which is springs. All the laws of nature were established by God, making them holy. Taught by ungodly men who worship the creation more than the creator, they are made secular. Since worldly teachers would make education secular, it is the responsibility of godly parents to make their education holy. How can we do this? Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.”
세속적인 교육 : 교육은 세속적인 것이든 경건한 것이든 근원이 되는 원천에 의해 이루어 집니다.
모든 자연의 법칙들은 하나님에 의해 이루어 졌고 그것들(자연의 법칙들)을 거룩하게 합니다.
피조물을 조물주보다 더 경배하는 경건하지 않은 사람에 의해 가르침을 받는다면 그것들은 세속적으로 됩니다.
세계적인 교육자들이 교육을 세속적인 것으로 만들기 때문에 그들의 교육을 경건한 것으로 만드는 것은 경건한 부모의 책임입니다.
우리는 어떻게 이것을 할 수 있을까요?
신명기 6:6-9: “오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 이 말씀을 너는 마음에 새기고 네 자녀에게 부지런히 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지 길에 행할 때에든지 누웠을 때에든지 일어 날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론할 것이며, 너는 또 그것을 네 손목에 매어 기호를 삼으며 네 미간에 붙여 표를 삼고 또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록할 찌니라.
The basis of all education is God’s word. Whatever contradicts God’s word is false. Psalm 119: 89, 128; therefore our children, as Timothy, must know from their earliest years that the word of God is true and absolute. They must know that their parents believe that to the point of obeying it. Obedience is observable and they can imitate it. Your home is the place in which the foundation of their education is laid. But bear in mind that the strongest incentive for children to obey and imitate their parents is love. Children are predisposed by God to love their parents, but this love is nurtured when they can see that their parents love them.
모든 교육의 근본은 하나님은 입니다.
하나님의 말씀에 위배되는 것은 무엇이 될지라도 거짓입니다. (시편 119:89, 128:)
그래서 우리의 자녀들은 디모데처럼 어려서 부터 하나님의 말씀이 진리이고 절대적인 것임을 알아야 합니다.
그들은 그들의 부모가 이 사실에 복종하기까지 믿었음을 알아야 합니다.
복종은 눈에 보여질 수 있으며 자녀들은 그것을 따라 할 수 있습니다.

The signals of love are kindness, gentleness, firmness, consistency, truthfulness, joy and appreciation. Seek the Lord for direction from his word; set your course accordingly, and don’t be overmuch troubled by the criticisms of men. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
사랑의 표시는 친절함과 온화함과 확고함과 지속과 진실과 기쁨과 감사입니다.
