안녕하세요 저는 조균제 형제 입니다. 믿음의 형제들의 홈페이지에서 많은 것을 알게 해 주셔서 감사 드립니다. 목사는 직임이 아니라 하나의 은사라고 배웠습니다. 질문 1) 교회의 일을 할 때 장로들이나 교회의 일꾼들에게 순종이나 복종을 해야 한다고 배웠습니다. 목사님의 의견이 저와 일치가 하지 않으면 어떻게 하는 것이 좋은가요 2)교회 재정이 어려운데(교회 일반회계가 적자라고 함) 계속해서 해외선교에 대한 지원(중앙회에서 정함)을 해야 하는지 궁금합니다. 항상 건강하세요 기도하겠습니다.

Dear Brother Cho. Your question seems to revolve around giving of money. I can only guess what it is about which you and the "pastor" disagree, but if it is about where you should give money and how much you should give, that is a very personal matter between you and the Lord. The scriptures say that "every man shall give account of himself to God." An example of that is found in Acts 5 where Ananias and Saphira were trying to look like they were conforming to what others were doing. Peter told them that while they owned the property it was theirs, and they were not compelled to sell it; and even after they sold it, the money was theirs to give all or part or none. No other man, therefore, is authorized to tell another what to do with that which is his own. Their sin was lying about what they gave, and pretending to have given all when they hadn't.
You also spoke about "headquarters", making it sound like your church was in debt because of the decisions of some higher or outside authority. Actually, the local assembly should feel a responsibility to those it has sent out from its congregation, and missions should certainly be a priority in our giving because that is what the church is supposed to do; but in the scriptures there is no precedent for a local church to be in debt, or to borrow in order to give. Consequently, if you are being compelled to do that which is unbiblical, there is no need for you to disobey God in order to obey man. However, if your unwillingness to obey biblical direction or correction because you simply have a different opinion based on what your flesh would rather follow, you would be wrong.
This is a subject that should be dealt with more at length, but I hope this brief answer will give some direction.

형제님의 질문은 물질을 내는 일에서부터 발생한 것으로 보입니다.
형제님과 ‘목사님’ 사이에 의견이 어떤 문제에 서로 맞지 않는지 저로서는 추측할 수 밖에 없지만, 그것이 형제님이 어디에 물질을 내야 하는지, 그리고 얼마나 내야 하는지에 관한 것이라면, 그것은 형제님과 주님 사이의 지극히 개인적인 문제입니다.
성경은 ‘우리 각인이 자기 일을 하나님께 직고하리라’라고 말하고 있습니다.
사도행전 5장에 아나니야와 삽비라가 다른 사람들이 하는 것에 자신들이 닮아가고 있는 것처럼 보이도록 노력했던 데에서 예를 찾을 수가 있습니다.
베드로는 그들에게 땅이 그대로 있을 때에 그것이 그들의 땅이었으며, 그들이 땅을 팔도록 강요 받지 않았고, 또한 땅을 판 후에라도 전부를 내든지, 일부를 내든지, 내지 않든지 돈은 그들의 것이었다고 말하고 있습니다.
그러므로 어느 누구라도 다른 사람에게 그가 가지고 있는 것으로 무엇을 하라고 말할 권리가 없습니다.
그들의 죄는 자신들이 드린 것에 대해 거짓을 말한 것과 전부를 드리지 않았음에도 그런 것처럼 속인 일이었습니다.
형제님은 또한 ‘중앙회’에 대해서 말씀하시면서 더 높거나 외부의 권위에서 내린 결정으로 형제님의 교회가 빚을 지게 되었다는 이야기를 하셨습니다.
사실 지역 모임은 그 모임에서 파송한 사람들에 대해 책임감을 느껴야 하고, 선교는 우리의 헌신에 있어서 우선순위가 되어야 합니다.
왜냐하면 그것이 교회가 해야만 하는 일이기 때문이죠.
그러나 성경에는 교회가 빚을 지거나, 물질을 내기 위해 빌려야 한다는 전례가 없습니다.
결과적으로 형제님이 비성경적인 일을 하도록 강요 받는다면, 형제님께서 사람에게 순종하시기 위하여 하나님에게 불순종할 필요가 전혀 없습니다.
그러나 형제님께서 단지 형제님의 육신이 따르려는 것에 기초하는 다른 의견을 가지고 있다는 이유만으로 성경적인 방향이나 제재에 순종하는 데에 주저하신다면, 형제님이 잘못된 것이겠지요.
이는 오랫동안 더 다루어야 하는 주제입니다.
그러나 이 짧은 답변이 어떤 방향을 제시해 주었으면 하는 바람입니다.
