질문
92년11월에 구원 받았어요. 이사야44장22절을 통해서 죽음에 대해 늘 불안했는데 빽빽한 구름에 사라짐 같이 안개에 사라짐 같이 도말 하였으니 너는 내게로 돌아오라 그 말씀으로 내 죄가 흰 눈같이 없어졌답니다. 그리고 내게 복음을 전해준 기쁜소식선교회에서 신앙생활을 20년동안 해왔는데 몇 년 전부터 이건 아닌데 하는 맘이 들어서 이곳 저곳 인터넷을 통해 기웃거리고 있답니다. 최근 딕욕 선교사님에 2009년 광주집회 말씀을 여러 번 들으면서 이게 맞구나 하는 맘이 듭니다. 딕 선교사님에 말씀을 계속 듣고 싶고 이모임이 대구에도 있다면 찾아가고 싶어서 이 글을 씁니다. 기쁜소식선교회는 최근에 교세가 커지면서 박목사님에 권위가 높아지고 권력이 막강해지면서 타락해가고 있습니다. 복음을 사랑하는 분들이 제동을 걸어주었으면 하는 바람도 있습니다 실명은 밝히고 싶지 않네요.

Dear friend in Christ:
I am sad to report that I have received several letters within the past month complaining about GNM. Your letter and all of their's say almost the same thing. There is apparently something seriously wrong that only the Lord can correct. Money and power are two extremely corrosive influences, and few men, if they do not continually seek the Lord and submit themselves to the direction of the Holy Spirit, can withstand the captivating power of financial prosperity. It seems apparent that GNM's leadership has fallen to that temptation. The apostle Paul continually warned the churches about money and power. One of the most notable passages is in Acts 20:28-35. As Paul instructed the elders of Ephesus, he specifically warned them that even from their own number men would rise up to draw disciples after themselves. In our flesh there is no good thing; so if we teach men that they have no sin, we cause them to misunderstand that sin is written into our members (our flesh), and in us, that is in our flesh, dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18). We understand that Jesus died for all sin, and in doing so he delivered us from the dominion of sin; but we are still in the world, our flesh has not been redeemed, and we still have the option to walk after our flesh. And therein lies the danger.
Sin is still sin. Our flesh is still sinful. But we are born again in the spirit. It is our spirit that has been renewed by the Holy Ghost. now we have the option not to sin, by walking after the spirit. But the spirit and the flesh are contrary the one to the other (Galatians 5:16,17). If we walk after the flesh we will sin. If we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. It is entirely possible, therefore, for men to teach that we have no sin while they themselves are walking after the flesh and demonstrating sin. I fear this is what has happened to the leadership of GNM.
But people all over the world are noticing the inconsistency and are beginning to separate themselves from it. My desire is that God will grip the hearts of those men and that they will repent and allow God to use them once again as he did many years ago. But until that happens, many saints are being disillusioned and discouraged. And many within their ranks who are not saints are being deceived into thinking they are saved simply because they have accepted a doctrine and are conforming to the organization.
The true church is not an organization, or a denomination; it is the body of Christ. members knit together by fellowship in the Spirit. They have the same head (Jesus) by whom they are directed and coordinated. That is why we each need to learn to hear his voice and walk in the Spirit. I don't know who you are because your letter is anonymous. However, I may meet you when I come to Korea at the end of September. I will look forward to that. In Christ, Dick.
그리스도 안에서 사랑하는 친구에게.
지난 달 동안 GNM에 대해서 불만을 제기하는 몇 통의 편지를 받았다는 소식을 전해야 함에 안타까움을 느낍니다.
형제님과 다른 모든 분들의 편지들은 거의 같은 내용을 이야기 하고 있습니다.
주님만이 바로잡을 수 있는 심각히 잘못된 무언가가 분명히 있습니다.
돈과 권력은 극단적으로 타락하도록 영향을 주는 요소이며, 또한 지속적으로 주님을 찾지 않고, 성령의 인도에 스스로를 복종시키기 않는다면 재정적 번영이라는 미혹하는 힘에 견딜 수 있는 사람은 거의 없습니다.
GNM의 지도부가 그러한 유혹에 빠졌다는 것은 명백해 보입니다.
사도 바울은 교회들에 돈과 권력에 대해서 계속해서 경고했습니다.
가장 눈에 띄는 부분 중에 하나가 사도행전 20장 28-35절 입니다.
바울이 에베소의 장로들을 교훈할 때, 바울은 특별히 그들 중에서도 제자들을 끌어 자기를 좇게 하려 일어날 사람들이 있을 것이라 경고했습니다.
우리의 육신에는 선한 것이 없습니다. 그러므로 사람들에게 우리가 죄가 없다고 가르치면, 우리는 죄가 우리의 지체(육신) 속에 쓰여 있으며, 우리 안에, 우리 육신 안에 선한 것이 거하지 않는 다는 것(로마서 7:18)을 오해하도록 만들게 됩니다.
우리는 예수님께서 우리의 모든 죄를 위해서 죽으셨음을, 그리고 그럼으로써 우리를 죄의 권세에서 우리를 옮기셨음을 이해합니다.
그러나 우리는 아직 세상 안에 있으며, 우리의 육신은 아직 구속 받지 못했고, 우리는 아직 우리의 육신을 따라 행할 수 있는 가능성을 가지고 있습니다.
그리고 거기에 위험이 도사리고 있습니다.
죄는 여전히 죄입니다.
우리의 육신은 여전히 죄가 있습니다.
그러나 우리는 영에 있어 거듭났습니다.
성령으로 말미암아 새로워진 것은 우리의 영입니다.
이제 우리는 영을 따라 행함으로써 죄를 짓지 않을 수 있는 선택권을 가지고 있습니다.
그러나 영과 육은 둘이 서로 대적합니다(갈라디아서 5: 16,17).
우리가 만약 육신를 따라 행하면 우리는 죄를 짓게 될 것입니다.
우리가 영을 따라 행한다면 우리는 육신의 욕심을 이루지 않을 것입니다.
그러므로 사람들이 자신 스스로가 육신을 따라 행하며 죄를 짓고 있으면서 우리가 죄가 없다고 말하는 것이 가능한 일입니다.
저는 GNM 지도부에 이런 일이 발생하지 않았나 걱정하고 있습니다.
그러나 전세계적으로 사람들이 이런 모순을 인지하고 있으며, 그들 스스로 선교회에서 떠나기 시작했습니다.
제 소망은 하나님께서 그런 분들의 마음을 붙잡으시고, 그들이 회개하고 하나님께서 수년 전에 그러셨듯이 다시 한 번 자신들을 쓰시도록 하는 것입니다.
이 일이 일어나기 전까지는 많은 성도들이 환멸을 느끼게 되며 낙담케 됩니다.
그리고 성도가 아니면서 교파 안에 있는 사람들은 단지 교리를 받아들이고, 단체를 따르고 있다는 이유로 자신들이 구원을 받았다는 생각에 속게 됩니다.
진정한 교회는 어떤 단체나 교파가 아닙니다.
이는 그리스도의 몸입니다. 그 지체들은 영 안에서 교제를 통해 굳게 결합됩니다.
이들은 자신들이 인도를 받고 조화가 되는 같은 머리(예수님)를 지닙니다.
이것이 우리 각자가 그의 음성을 들으며 영을 따라 행해야 하는 이유입니다.
형제님의 편지가 익명이므로 저는 형제님이 누구인지 모릅니다.
그러나 제가 9월 말에 한국에 가게 되면 만나게 될 수도 있을 것입니다.
